At Delta Support, we believe that everyone should have access to compassionate, accessible bereavement care, regardless of their financial circumstances. We specialise in the support of people who have lost loved ones after addiction. Losing a loved one is one of life’s most challenging experiences, and we don’t want the cost of support to add to the burden that you may already be carrying.

Our service is now open and ready to support you. We’ve adopted a "pay what you can" approach to ensure that help is available to all. While a typical session costs £50 per hour, we understand that not everyone can afford this. If you can contribute £10, £20, or any amount that works for you, that’s perfectly fine. Every contribution helps us sustain our services and reach more people in need. Our support is delivered over the phone so that you can be as comfortable as you can in your own space.

Our experienced team specialises in guiding individuals through grief, including those navigating the complexities of losing a loved one to addiction. We offer a safe and understanding space where you can begin to rebuild your life at your own pace.

The name Delta reflects the transformative journey of grief. Just as a delta branches out into multiple streams, each finding its way forward, we believe that grief is a deeply personal journey. We’re here to walk alongside you as you discover your unique path, carrying the love and memories of your loved one with you.

Let’s take the first step together. Your contribution, no matter the size, ensures we can continue to provide support for everyone who needs it. Reach out to us today to begin your journey toward healing.

ABOUT DELTA BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT

Hi, I’m Joe Wright, and I founded Delta Grief Support because I believe everyone deserves compassionate, accessible, and personalised bereavement care. My journey into grief counselling began with a deep commitment to supporting those who are navigating life after loss, particularly in the unique and often challenging circumstances of losing a loved one to addiction.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked one-to-one with individuals experiencing grief, helping them to find their way forward in the aftermath of such profound loss. Through this experience, I’ve come to understand the complexities of grief caused by addiction — the mixed emotions, unanswered questions, and sometimes the stigma that can make the journey even harder.

My academic background includes a degree in Psychology and BACP Level 3 training in Counselling Skills, along with a Diploma in Grief and Trauma Counselling. These qualifications, combined with my hands-on experience, have equipped me with both the professional skills and the empathy needed to guide others through their grief.

I chose the name “Delta” because it reflects the nature of grief. Just as a river delta branches out into different paths, finding its way around obstacles and flowing toward the sea, grief is a personal and evolving journey. It’s about finding your way forward while continuing to carry the love and memories of those you’ve lost.

Delta Grief Support is my way of offering a safe space for you to explore your grief, feel supported, and rebuild your life in a way that honours your loved one. Whether it’s through one-to-one sessions or tailored resources, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as you navigate this new chapter.
